Dean Potter was the leader of his generation of adventure climbers, making bold ascents in Yosemite, and taking the sport in new directions. Dean pushed the boundaries of high lining, and BASE jumping, and combined those disciplines with climbing to open up wild ideas of how to explore the vertical realm and the spaces around it. Dean lost his life in a wingsuit BASE flight in Yosemite, along with Graham Hunt in 2015.
Welcome to the wildest competition known to man -- the speed record on the Nose route of El Capitan. Yosemite legends Dean Potter and Hans Florine go head-to-head, racing up 3,000 feet of vertical rock in under three hours, risking life and limb.
